If I’m not mistaken, there’s a lot of reasons why these things happen.

• There’s a possibility that there’s a certain div you didn’t close which has text-align:center; therefore it includes the div pop up box to have it on the center as well.
• There’s a possibility that you used <center> without it having its close tag and eventually the div for pop up box was included.

It actually depends on how you really use it. There’s no specific use unless you have to use this without the use of the css.

In the <script> code, you find an <img src> code there. Whatever will be in the quotation marks after src, that’ll be the X button of the pop up box.
